Keepsake is operated by Omar Aboelazm (“we”), trading as Krafthaus. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to your photos. You can reach us at hello@krafthaus.io.
If you create an account — your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your email address and name from them; we never receive your password. We do not collect your phone number.
If you join an event as a guest — only the name you type when joining. No account, email or phone number is required. You are given an anonymous identity so the app can tell your photos apart from other guests'.
Photos you take — the images themselves, which event they belong to, which guest took them, and when. Photos are taken inside the app or the web capture page; we do not read your camera roll or photo library.
Event details — the title, dates, venue name, an optional location link, dress code and cover image the organizer enters.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes.
This is controlled by the organizer, and enforced on our servers rather than in the app:
Photos and event details are kept until the organizer deletes the event, at which point the event, its photos and its image files are permanently removed. You can delete your own photos at any time from the event gallery in the app. We keep a minimal record that an event was deleted, and who deleted it, for accounting and abuse handling.
We intend to introduce automatic deletion of photos a set period after an event ends. When we do, we will update this policy with the exact period before that deletion begins.
Accounts, event data and photos are stored with Supabase, which hosts our database and file storage. Transactional email (such as your sign-up verification code) is sent through Resend. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country.
You can delete individual photos you took, and organizers can delete an entire event. To request deletion of your account and everything associated with it, email hello@krafthaus.io and we will action it. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct or export your personal data; the same address reaches us for those requests.
Keepsake is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If a child's photo appears in an event, contact the organizer or us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app.
